A miniboss in Kid Mystic and Dr. Lunatic: Supreme With Cheese. He is a giant bat who can summon Scary Bats. Although his Scan Text in Supreme with Cheese states that his name is German, neither 'uber' nor 'bat' (nor the connection of the two) are actual German words. The name may be a reference to the Ubermensch, (German for Over-Man, Superman, Hyperman, Superhuman), and thus can be taken to simply mean "The Superbat"

| Scan Text: | The name of this bloated critter is German for "The Superbat", but uber is fun to say. He looks like a muppet. The concept for this creature was probably born in the Stephen King short story Graveyard Shift, about giant rats, from the collection "Night Shift" I believe. If you read it (don't if you are easily creeped out!), you'll see the connection. Also a little Lovecraftian flavor there. But not as much as The Thing! |
